Issue transferring BG:EE save from macOS to iPad

ferrisieferrisie Member Posts: 2
I'm trying to transfer a save from BG:EE on my Mac to my iPad, but it isn't showing up on the iPad in game.

I followed the instructions under "How do I transfer my saved games, custom sound sets, or portraits from a PC or Mac to my iPad?" in this post: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/comment/460954/#Comment_460954

Zipped the save file, renamed it with .bg1save, emailed it to myself, opened it via Mail on my iPad by choosing "Copy to Baldur's Gate". BG:EE then opens without issue on the iPad but the save isn't imported and doesn't come up in the Load screen.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I've tried with a couple of different saves, here is one I've been trying.

    Hi
You have the files within a folder
    000000001-Quick-Save-4.bg1save\000000001-Quick-Save-4\files

Change it to remove the internal folder, i.e.
    000000001-Quick-Save-4.bg1save\files

The instructions referenced above are not correct for current save functionality.

The save folder must not be used, i.e. the archive should only contain the required files with no folders
Only one save can be transferred at a time
The GAM and SAV files are essential
If TOBTEMP.BMP is present, it must be included
Other BMP's are nice to haves
    Anything else is not required

I'll see if we can get that updated.
    Thanks
