[Tweak] BGEE 1.3-ish dialog box

Good news everyone !

After a lot of work, trial and error and experimentation, I finally managed to reproduce a dialog box that behaves almost like in 1.3.
  • It only have one scrollbar
  • If you scroll up, you get the dialog history in the same box
  • It should work even with bigger font
  • It should work for BG1EE, SoD and BG2EE
Here are some screenshots:






Installation:
- Select all the text from these lines:
` worldNPCDialogText = ""
to the line before this code:
menu { name 'CHARACTER_SELECT'

And replace the selected text with the content of the attached text file.

Changelog:
v0.3: Less text flashing. The scrollbar only appears when you start scrolling.
v0.2: Fix history height computation. Fix out of bound access.
v0.1: Initial release

    Great progress! In our testing we get a flash of some kind of ghost text (I don’t know what it should be called) each time we pick a reply option or hit the continue button. It never stays, it’s just like this very quick flash.

    Other then that, the single scroll bar is there and works well. Just thought I’d let you know as I’m not sure if that is what your experiencing as well. :)

    Edit: I forgot to add that our test was on a BGEE only install, with the latest patch.

    @lefreut - Okay, I'll let it stabilize a bit. I'm awaiting a new EET release candidate to test against anyway.

    This is working better. There is still some flash or “blink”, but not as much.

    Thank you, it's working great. Already much better than the convoluted 2.x dialog box, IMHO.

    Is it possible to make the dialog box taller by default? If so, could you tell me which values would I need to edit to change it?

    @lefreut Thanks, that did the trick. I made it 50 pixels larger. Looks great!

    Hello!
    Nice mod. I definitely prefer the old dialog box.
    Does this mod work with IWDEE (beta v. 2.5)?

    Wonderful news! Looking forward to trying it. I am playing IWDEE in these days and I am having a lot of fun, but the dialog box is just a mess.
