Crash on Startup

Been looking about but haven't seen a solution to the problem yet.

Launching the game on Steam at times will cause a crash before even getting in the game where I get a dialogue. The only solution I've found to fixing this problem is restarting my PC. Restarting just Steam or launching the nwmain.exe from the folder end with the same crash.
