Increasing the 16k Limit

Forgive me if this has already been suggested, -- I've looked everywhere and was unable to find it and the lack of a search function made the search for the topic rather fruitless -- but I'm quite certain someone must have because it should be every module and PW creator's first wish among wishes, and that is to increase the 16k resource limitation. Perhaps it cannot be done, and if so, so be it, and someone can put me in my place.
But if it could be increased.....

As far as I was told last stream: The 16.5k cap is a limit of being 32bit. They are working towards a 64bit release but that will take time. But it is something they are working on long term.
