Does the Priest of Talos's Lightning Bolt have a Damage Cap?

I read on a few forums that the Lightning Bolt spell of the Priest of Talos doesn't have a damage cap like the mage equivalent spell.

On an old post from 2003, a guy said he was consistently getting damage into the 100s.

Can anyone check this? It makes the kit a lot more appealing.

All Lightning Bolt spell entries that I found caps at 10d6.

You can, however, use the PnP version of the Priest of Talos that allows you to use this spell more times per day.

It is available in Deities of Faerun.

There is also spell50 mod which uncaps all damage/duration based spell scaling. So you can have 50d6 lightning bolts at level 50, for example.

Ofcourse this disrupts game balance, and it works two ways-it can make some enemies more challenging, too! (Enemy spell casters are usually higher level than pc)
