Question: Level Change to Recruit B? (Minor Spoilers)

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I saw that the level to recruit Baeloth was reduced and/or removed but I haven't been able to find out if it is true and if so what level is now required. Anyone know?

    Lowest I've gotten him was with a party of around 20k exp on a fighter/mage/thief protagonist.

    Before it used to be level five. I've been seeing notifications that its been lowered or removed but I can't corroborate it anywhere and/or find out what the new value is.

    I thought it was supposed to be 20001 XP due to the fixed starting level of Baeloth. If you can get him to spawn while having less XP than that please let us know!
