@LadyRhian I want that gorgeous night blue studded leather the elf is wearing! The garter on her right leg is jus the icing on the cake - the whole outfit says "I can be well protected, lethal and very feminine all at the same time; and I can have a sense of humour as well!"

These are some of my favourite images based on writing I did. Apologies if any are reposts (the thread is quite long!)
Estella Cheriford, from Pathfinder's "Rival Guide." I believe Eva Widermann did this piece (there were a lot of contributing artists to that book).
Irabeth Tirabade, half-orc paladin from "The Worldwound Incursion." Art by Wayne Reynolds.
The woman on the right was inspired by my character Ursula, a shifter barbarian. This is from "Secrets of Xen'drik." I love her so much. Art by Lucios Parrillo.
Sorry to take so long to get back to you - I've had some serious connection problems, plus my normal health stuff.
@Amber_Scott thanks for the neat pics. Gotta love that gorgeous half orc! She's got style!
@LadyRhian. some really wonderful images in this lot, but that Zeronis pic - nipples on space armor?!? Not to mention the difficulties she must had trying to ust stand upright with those ginormous breasts.
@kiwidoc That's supposed to be Samus from Other M. I haven't played it, but I think her breasts might have been that large (at least, based on other fan arts I have seen). It could just be fan flanderization of what was already there. I am unsure.
Samus has always been an incredibly busty woman. And that suit isn't armour. It's sort of like a skintight jumpsuit to keep everything in place while she wears her actual armour, which you can see the helmet of in the photo.
@LadyRhian and @Elrandir I've never played the game, so I am not that sure what Samus looks like. I've seen so many fan art portraits of her I'm just confused - just as an example there are two in the 1st Wes Talbott set, and they don't even look like each other! Anyway, you've cleared something up for me - there are nipples showing because basically thats her underwear, not her armor. And obviously the armor has magic, bust reducing properties biult in )
@Kiwidoc The second Wes Talbot Picture in based on the original Metroid Game. Players played through it, thinking Samus was male, but if you beat the game in under three hours (I think), you get to see Samus take off her armor at the end, and she's wearing a bikini/swimsuit and only then do players become aware that Samus is female. Apparently, this was a tremendous shock back in the day, as women were usually/always objects to be rescued than the protagonists in and of themselves.
Not sure which game the first image might be from. Maybe Metroid 2 or 3. I haven't seen enough of either to know.
The "Zero Suit" as it is called, was first introduce in Metroid Zero Mission, back on the GBA in 2004, but the original metroid game was released on the NES, all the way back in 1986. As LadyRhian said, it wasn't revealed that Samus was a man until after beating the game with an exceptionally good time. (although I believe it was possible to get her in a jumpsuit/gymnastics suit type thing in only under five-three hours. I believe it's somewhere in there. I also think the bikini was under one hour)
Samus is a total cold, quiet, calculating bada**, and the one game in which they tried to make her more emotional and "traditionally feminine" was Other M in 2010, which gamers and fans absolutely hated for the changes to her character. As for the "magic" of her armour, there really is none. If you look at images of it, there's ample room for her, ahem... ample bosom. The armour is just so androgynous in many ways that people don't realize Samus is a woman while in it.
The Metroid series are excellent, and while you may prefer RPGs, the "search freely through a well-designed 'world' to find new powers so you can progress further" style of gameplay is not only loved by many (including myself) but also spawned a new genre, called Metroidvania (A combination of Metroid and Castlevania, the other series that kind of created this style of game)
To show just how awesome Samus is, and how she totally deserves her own showcase here on this thread, I give you... Samus Time!
First, a brief description of her bada** abilities: Samus Aran’s infusion with Chozo DNA, as well as her warrior training since her childhood, has turned Samus in a superior athlete. Her training began at the age of 3 and continued up until she was 14 years old. As a result of the Chozo’s influence, Samus is capable of running and jumping heights far past normal human ability, as well as surviving falls that would otherwise kill an ordinary human. Samus is also more adaptive to foreign alien environments that humans cannot survive in. Also, she's 6'3" and weighs 198 pounds. Without her armour. (taken directly from the metroid wiki)
And now for what this thread is all about. Pictures!
@Elrandir I really appreciate the info on Samus and the pics. Not being able to play most video games does make it a lot harder to sort things out (I get motion sickness in any fast moving and/or first person games). I think the fan art for Samus covers a much wider range of styles than the art for say Eowyn or FemShep. There are many more of the comic art style with exaggerated breast size and tiny waist, but official art I've come across does give her the same shape in the zero suit- underwaer and the armor.
@LadyRhian yay Pippi Longstocking! That's exactly how she'd look in armor.
I'm about to post more pics than usual - I've been having hassles with an ultra slow or even completely gone internet connection for a few days, and I have to do some catching up.
