@LadyRhian O Gods and Godesses I just love the pics by Frida Bergholtz and Miguel Regodon Harkness. I love seeing images of women who are no longer youthful, and who aren't classically beautiful, or even pretty but are striking and compelling becuase of their air of competence, confidence and command. These two ladies just have to be generals.
MeavesChild does great work and I think this is one of her best. I love the softness of the watercolour. I DLed a large version of the full pic just cos I like it so much.
I'm never quite sure about Poser images. It's really hard to know what are the artists own work, and what is ready made and purchased. You can buy textures, clothes and even programs to do the actual posing for you.
I'm pretty sure chainsaw zombie slayer and his wizardly pal are both men. I mean, we can't really be sure of the mage, but if the chainsaw wielder is a girl, then that is one masculine woman with a man's body all the way. Of course, it could just be the snarl on the face that's throwing me off, but it looks like a guy to me.
@Elrandir as a medic I think the angle of chainsaw wielding zombie slayer hips is female - and I have seen plenty of women just a muscular as her. I agree the blonde in the background has a very masculine body and stance. I got the link for the artist and pic off a blog that features woman fighters - so I am not the only one who thinks its a she
@Nonnahswriter there is a good reason there isn't a halfling duo in my little line up of males wearing sensible armor paied with females baring their chests and/or for any incoming weaponry. The halflings were the only race where the female had decent armor!
Axe, crossbow and leather armor that covers everything and is still way sexy! She's so cool - I want to be her when I grow down!

Oh yes, and one male dressed like female characters usually are. I bet one arm is a lot thicker and more muscular than the other!

D&D = Dungeons & Doublestandards
It’s April Fools day - so here’s something a little different.I can't get this damn forum program to let me post the full sized pic. Go here to see the ....

- and then you can actually see what I'm getting at!Later I’ll be featuring some of the less sexist art to prove that some of the artists contributing to the D&D 4e core Rulebooks did it right.
