Changing Character Race

TL;DR - Is there any way to change race after starting the game?

I recently attempted to see if I could solo BGEE. However, I completely forgot about the level cap at lvl8 161k exp.

Now that I'm stuck there and only just into Chapter 3 I want to dual-class my Half-Orc Fighter but obviously need to change his race to Human.

For BG2 there was a mod called Shadowkeeper which enabled this, does anyone know of another mod or any other way to do this?

I am also interested in how to do this. I downloaded shadow keeper and all that came up was a window with boxes for stats and abilities. if someone could help me work this out id love them long time!

If you're using BG[2]:EE, you should use EE Keeper instead of Shadow Keeper. Here's a link to the latest version:

After you load your saved game, a character's race can be changed on the Characteristics tab (second tab).
