Well to be honest, I don't know how much wisdom is needed. Doesn't it affect lore mainly? I rolled a NE Half-elf now with total roll of 96, the stats being 18/18/15/18/10/15 plus 2 points still to spare. CON and CHA won't need em so only viable option is to make WIS 12? With 3 tomes it's gonna be 15. Don't know if soloing is even possible in EE since I remember that in the original monster summoning wasn't limited to five.
Summoning monsters is largely pointless since the BG2 versions just summon 1 sometimes 2 EXTREMELY weak monsters, where as the BG1 version summon 1 monster per level, randomly chosen from the appropriate HD list. They were still mostly useless in combat, but they could tie enemies up in a wall of bodies while you pelted them with ranged, and they might get a few lucky crits in and actually do some damage before they die.
Just grab a wand of fire, wand of lightning and a wand of sleep, and obliterate the game. Being a blade is optional. (Not very fond of them myself)

Wand of Frost is also very easy to acquire early on. Am thinking of doing a solo Jester run personally...
Yeah, but WoF has a chance of shattering the enemies...while it's not as huge deal as long as you only use it on mooks, you can't really use it vs enemies with gear you want.

True, I use it a lot on enemies that don't drop loot, like spiders (most of the time)
If not role half-elf to increase chances for good rolls.
Yes, half-elfs are a little easier to roll for, due to having higher minimum racial stats, also the 30% resistance to charm/sleep is better than nothing, and infravision, for what it's worth...
STR can be anything really, there's lots of ways to boost it.
Though if you want to take the character into BG2, is nice to start with 19 Str (+3 to hit/+7 damage), so starting BGEE with 18 strength would be nice, if you get decent rolls...
Why would you want such a high dexterity on a class that doens't benefit from more then 16?
All classes benefit from high Dex, or you getting confused with Con? Even on non-figher types, 18 Con can still be helpful if you want that Character to use the Claw of Kazgorath, though I usually have more need for points in other attributes

18 DEX
18 CON
18 INT
10-Whatever Wisdom. You're kind of ADHD.
15-18 CHA
Put + Hammers if you're good. (Ashadeena +2 +1 Electrical Damage)
or + in Scimitars if you're evil. (Drizzt's Mainhand)
THEN + Mace or Dagger for Stupifer or Venom
Put the rest in Two-Weapon Style. (++)
dex min
con max
wis min
int max
cha min
Rest points in wis and cha.
Get the gauntlets of dexterity early game
Proficiencies in scimitars and two weapon fighting.
Get Drizzt's scimitars and mithril chainmail+4.
Then exit the game, because it became too easy and boring.
wait till BG2: EE to play a Bard/Blade because of the very cool stronghold quest
