Low exp for learning spells and disarming traps

When I learn from a spell scroll I only get 10 exp for every level of the spell. Whenever I disarm a trap I only get around 25 exp. Was this how it was in BG2 before? I remember it being quite a bit higher.

In TuTu (if I recall correctly; it was the mod that joined BG1 & 2 together as a single play-through game), you earned XP for learning spells and disarming traps at the same amount set for performing these actions in BG2, even if you had started a new game and begun at Candlekeep. Thus did my thief/mage hit level 3/2 before Gorion bit the dust.

Also, it's not very heroic to level up off of a successful attempt to unlock Winthrops's storage cupboard

You just need to edit XPBONUS.2DA. If I see enough demand for it, I'll do it myself and upload as I did with the simple xp cap remover.
