[Help needed] Durlag's Tower level 4 - Grael is missing
Hello guys, im new to this game but i think i managed to progress. I was on my way to Naskel but i wanted to clear the locations on the map before progressing on main quest and i found myself into durlag's tower. I managed to reach level 4 but i am stuck. I suppose the thing to do is to answer 3 tricky questions (into that special room) in order to understand the story. Is it 3 indeed? I answered 2 of them, on in the beggining near the "well", and one in a room (seems like a storage room and has 2 statues that activate traps if you cross the line). I have cleared everything and i think ive explored 100% of the map. I used druids true sight skill to explore more of the area and there is a room with an npc in which i cant go. I also cannot go into the treasure room as the door says it requires a special wardstone which probably i dont have. Any tips?

so i just used cheat to get the key
(actually grael showed up to my exploring thief, but i fell back to gather the party before fighting and he just dissapered)
ctrl+j , I believe.
But you need to activate cheat console. Everything about cheats is written here:
http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/8317/how-to-customize-your-game/p1
just type that in the console and enter
the item will be created at yours main character inventory
Could someone please reproduce this bug and write the specifics? I would then be able to add it to the devs' tracker.
The wardstones and such have no value or use outside of Durlag's Tower.
Is Grael absolutely essential to continue? I don't like hauling around or wasting crap equipment when I enter a new area.
(Just noticed the heading. My problem is in BG:EE, not BG1. Please disregard.)
He gets in the acid and dies (happens to me every time) and the wardstone is on the ground.
So after he dies and drops the compass wardstone if you do anything to make items on the ground disappear like leave the area, it is gone forever.
A reaaaaaaaaaaaaal quick fix would be to make him immune to poison / acid or whatever it is.
