If you take the spying/infiltration path into the bandit camp, you get a chance to kill Tazok mid-game. He will come out to "welcome" you to the bandits' organization, and you can attack him. He will still appear in the final battle, though. As well as in SoA. You just can't kill this guy. He's like a classic soap opera/comic book villian. LOL

I still dont know if you guys are being serious about the elven chain and Tazok... It sounds to absurd to be right but im not detecting any sarcasm...
If your gonna make it all crazy meta gamey like that, might as well put it in a single pixel loot pile in the middle of a field like the ankeg amor.

Tazok + Elven chain = true. It is equally true that it has been decided that Tazok will be the protagonist of BGNext.

Tazok protagonist? How so? As long as I remember I met(and killed) him in Windspear Hills with a bunch of Orogs and Neo Orogs in BG2.

Well, I'm still figuring all this stuff out, but in 2011 the item does have the "Droppable" flag set. Not sure what else is required to make the item drop...

I remember fighting that greater wolfwere on that island and it was immune to most of my weapons. Darn near resist ever spell I threw at it...AND would regen its health very quickly. The fight took forever but I did beat it. Khalid with the +2 sword and my Main (the sorcerer) did all the work while the others just healed and cried in the corner.
