Yeslick and Magic Items

Observed Behavior:

Yeslick doesn’t seem to be able to use magic items that he should be able to, like the Wand of the Heavens and Protection Scrolls and Cleric Scrolls. Everyone else in my party can use the Protection scrolls, and the cleric scrolls can be used by rangers and paladins.

Expected Behavior:

Yeslick should be able to use these items. :)

    I guess it's because he does not have enough intelligence to read scrolls ...

    I don't know why the wand of heavens got min int 9, probably this is a similar oversight in bg1 as the scrolls. Gotta check ToB.

    Well, sorry, ToB has the same req. It is even in the item description.

    @Jalily can you sneak in the int req. in the wand of heaven desc? - ToB has it, we don't.

    Thanks for the clarification! I guess I should have read the descriptions more carefully.

    Now wands description says that the character must have at least 9 in Intelligence.
