The time sink at Beregost

Ok. This is one of my big pet peeves about this game. Not a really major issue but it bugs me none the less. Why on Faerun does it take 8 hours to travel from Beregost to the High Hedge?! I mean you are really just moving a few feet not a few miles. There should really be no travel time here. I am convinced that this MUST have been an oversight (which, by the way, existed in the original too) because of several reasons.
#1: If you are observant you may have noticed that the very southwestern corner of Beregost is clipped by the edge of the Beregost area. Then if you go to High Hedge you can actually see the rest of that tip in the southeast corner.
#2: The traveling times all make sense aside from this one.
#3: The commoners (and the manual) speak of the High Hedge like it is an actual part of Beregost; as if it were just outside of town (which it is).
#4: The same type of aforementioned clipping occurs at the south end of Beregost into the area just south of Beregost and there is no travel time between these two areas.
#5: The temple is also just outside of Beregost and there is no travel time for that either (although I don't remember any clipping there...)
I would really appreciate it if this oversight were corrected in some future patch if possible.

I think that the Farmfields south of the BG bridge should be north of the Bandit camp, which is north of Peldvale, which is east of FAI. The roads fit 100% perfectly, so that map isn't accurate. Still, love the Cloakwood re-design!

Edit : completely misspoke what I had to say, sorry XD

Same with south of beregost too, you can CLEARLY see the road there its part of the town, thats like me taking 8 hours to step from my house, say the jovial juggler, to my front lawn...

    Because fuck you logic.

I kind of knew this wouldn't get fixed. It just always bugged me a lot. Oh well. I checked the map too. I never knew that THAT many areas had this same issue. Incredible.

    Tangentially...
It as a linear journey, from Nashkell to Baldur's gate, it really reminds me of these old pilgrimage maps. Everything else is just fluff.
