Potions of Master Thievery, Potions of Perception, and Potions of Power can increase Pickpocket. Master Thievery potions give the highest pickpocket bonus at +40%.

On top of what Flashburn mentioned, I also enjoy handing my thief Potions of Mind Focusing. They increase your Dexterity by 3 which is good for +15% Pick Pocket, among other things.

Ok thats awesome now to see if any of the shops I have access to have any of these, I am about to say hello to Drizz but I wanted to make sure I had all my ducks in a row before "introducing" myself.

Those potions can be hard to come by actually. Few stores sell them until Baldur's Gate. High Hedge and Erdane at Durlags's Tower come to mind though.

Sorcerous Sundries, Shop of Silence and Black Lily at the thieve's guild in Baldur's Gate all sell them.

I got 1 of each that I needed to get over 50% pickpocket early in the game from high hedge and the temple in the friendly inn. got myself 2 new Scimitars, and then proceeded to beat the crap out of Drizzt.
