[Bug] Crash in The Black Pits when opening inventory or character record screen

Like the title says, the game hard crashes when I try to open up my inventory screen of an elf fight/mage/thief that's soloing the black pits.

I noticed some weirdness surrounding the mage spell summon magical weapon. The title text was messed up. Oh well, thought I, summoned another one and dual wielded the magical +3 weapons. After the battle, I saved. Now the game crashes whenever I load the save, and try and check the inventory screen, or character record.

Here's the savegames I think only the quicksave crashes, but the autosave might as well.

This happened with version 1.0.2010, but version 1.0.2011 does the same thing.

Broken weapon in shield slot, i think.

If you can edit the save, delete the broken sword from the shield slot. That will rescue this game.

I have the same problem, but in my playtrough. I imagine it has to do with leaving the UD with Drow weapons equipped.
How would i go about editing the saved game? I installed EEkepper but it wont find the saves.

For now, you have to move your BGII:EE save into your BG:EE save folder and then move the edited one back.

If you use the most recent version of Keeper (1.0.2.1), you can edit BG:EE or BG2:EE save games; single player, Black Pits, and multiplayer for both games, and you can also chose a custom location where your save games might be.
