Blur scroll?

Could someone remind me where to find a Blur scroll early on (before Bandit Camp)? My fighter/mage needs it! Please spoiler tag any details for others, though. Thanks.

    Or is it available earlier in BGEE?

    I guess Thalantyr at the High Hedge might sell one?

    But then again, maybe he doesn't. I'm at the bottom of
    the Cloakwood Mines
    , and I haven't found one yet.

    Okay, then sorry I'm mistaken. I guess there are none before Chapter 5, which is a shame. If you just follow the plot and don't explore every last map, you tend to get spell slots way before the actuall scrolls of that level show up.

    I'm exploring widely, even before the bandit camp, it's going to be quite a whole before I get to BG. A pity as it's a fantastic spell for a fighter/mage

    The only place you can reliably get one before Baldur's Gate
    is in the Cloakwood mine—there's one in a bookshelf next to Stephan (Davaeorn's apprentice). Unfortunately, it's so close to Chapter Five that it doesn't make a difference. v_v
    I've also found some as random loot. Try the ghouls on the Gullykin map, I got two Blur drops from them just now.

    Yeah, just attack scrubs. They'll drop some scrolls, here and there...no guarantees, but Neera's spellbook got all nice and filled up thanks to a bunch of dirt-blanketed ghouls and humanoids.

    4 ghouls killed on the Gullykin and still no Blur scroll :-(

    I am with elminster on this... though I am a little worried he may be swaying from his original alignment slightly...

    CHARNAME is neutral evil :-)

    Won't I suffer a bug rep loss if I start killing the halflings, though? My rep is currently 6...

    One assumes random drops have a chance of dropping with random scroll drops, I've found around three on my current, mageless, playthrough, the last of which being
    the wraith in Ulcaster.

    I've not done that map yet, that'll be my next stop, then :-)
