Can't progress past 161,00xp (single class or total xp for dual class)

Look at my whole party, I've been grinding Ankhegs to level up Imoen after dual-classing and all the single classes have topped out at 161,000xp while Jaheira is at 80,500/80,500 and Imoen is at 91,000/70,000, which of course add up to 161,000.

Is this a bug or is there something I'm not understanding? I haven't edited my characters or installed any mods, just playing the vanilla game.

    Thats the experience cap. Short of modding your game theres nothing you can do about it.

    So I guess I've lost Imoen as a thief then, no way to reactivate her :(

    Not an issue. That's the XP cap.

    Afraid so. What level did you dual her at?

    @BaberahamLincoln There are some mods around the forum that'll remove the cap for you.

    I think 7, whenever it was I guess it was too late.

    No it was 8, because now thief and mage are both at 8 and I can't use thief until mage is one level higher. Stupid stupid stupid.

    @BaberahamLincoln

    Use Shadowkeeper to lower her thief level to 7, and lower her thief skills and proficiency point etc...

    Then when you load that save you should have a legit 7 thief / 8 mage.

    If you don't know how to use Shadowkeeper search that on the forums there is a thread that explains how to move the save files around to get it to work with BGEE.

    Thanks guys, I got Shadowkeeper to work and now she's an 8 mage/7 thief again.

    I'd never dualed a class before so I didn't really know what I was doing. I got kind of bored with just a thief and wanted another mage for a DPS boost so I just decided to go for it. Rookie move.
