@Oxford_Guy Hmm, You have a point about that hammer. Perhaps I should give it a second look. (I still like the staff mace though.) BTW: I noticed you voted for other... What other weapon were you thinking of?
I voted for other just so that I could see the responses to the poll.
I like threads like these @Oxford_Guy, always fun to see people's thought processes as you mentioned.
That said, I prefer the Stupefier for a few reasons:
Firstly, I like the flavor of the Stupefier which seems very appropriate for a Drow Cleric; the ability to incapacitate foes seems just sadistic enough for Viccy .
Additonally, the stun effect is unique to the Stupefier and the utility it provides is a fun little mechanic to change up combat. It works well both offensively (to interrupt casters) and defensively (to give Viccy some breathing room if attacked in melee). The downside is the random nature of the proc, but that doesn't bother me much.
Bonus: Stupefier is easily obtainable early on and Viccy starts with mace proficiency.
EDIT: As an aside, in my good party I use Branwen with Ashideena as I find it more fitting for her as a Cleric of Tempus. I aim fort a nice blend of flavor/roleplay and optimization.
