Stuck on Quest: Return to Nashkel

So I just killed the dude in the mines, and got the journal entry to return to Nashkel. When I return, the mayor tells me he needs documentation. Figuring I missed something on his corpse, I return to where I killed him, but his corpse isn't there. Am I missing something? How do I fix this? None of my saves are from before killing him. :/

    Did you check the chest in his room?

    There should be a couple of scrolls lying around either in the chest or where he fell. Picking up these scrolls are what triggers the next chapter. Try tabbing to locate them.

    Huh, I emptied the chest, but I wonder if there's something I'm missing. I'll head back again just to be sure. Heck, even the foreman thanked me for fixing his mine when I talked to him...

    Yup, two scrolls on the ground, completely occluded by a wall. Without pressing tab, I never would have found them.

    ALWAYS press tab. Tab is your friend.

    Tab is all.

    I am not able to find the mayor of nashkel after having completed the quest. (iPad). Have looked everywhere (night and day) and especially in front of the temple on the main road where he is, first.

    @The_New_Romance Just Yes! That game had both one of the best beginnings and one of the best endings ever.
