Unlocking new areas without having new NPC's

Wanna access cloudpeaks etc..

    That would defeat the purpose of having the new npc's with quests in those regions don't you think? Just saying. :-)

    So how do i activate Dorn at level 7 then, as his 'event' hasnt occured in my game yet. I left Naschel a very long time ago..

    I have a similar problem to @pzrshrek. I had the event with him to recruit him, but then, no other event triggered.... I'm almost over with the cloakwood now and ALL the world map is cleared! Oh well...

    @Ragnarok & @pzrshrek: from my experience so far, it looks like Dorn is supposed to trigger his quest by telling you his story in stages. The first piece of explanatory dialogue was triggered the first time I took him into BG city, but that's not enough to start his quest. I don't know what triggers the next piece of dialogue because I've never seen it. However, if you
    go to Nashkel with him and talk to Taris (standing outside the Inn)
    then that'll force-start his quest.

    I managed to do Neera's area without having Neera in my party, I kept her in my party long enough for her to reveal Ahoy's Enclave on the map, then I dropped her. When I did eventually go to Ahoy's Enclave, I was quite surprised, as she made a "guest appearance" towards the end there ("teleported in", like @Shandyr describes for Rasaad and the Cloudpeaks), almost as if she was in my party, though dissappeared afterwards! I'm guessing it's possible to do something similar with Raasad's areas, even if he's not in your party.

    The characters teleporting in is better than the game crashing I bet!
