I found one on my first play through somewhere in the wilderness off an ogre on my first play through but I can't remember where?

I'm pretty sure you can find one in the area I circled here:

Durlag's tower has a ton of +1 2H swords floating around, as well as a +2 and a +3 if you can find them.

minus the +2. I don't think that one was actually implemented.

Sepotter's screenshot is the most easily accessible one though. A named half-ogre drops it, a level 1 party should easily be able to handle him with some basic tactics such as sleep -> kill or entangle -> missile weapons.

(cast Web, send in fighter with this sword, chop, chop...)
