You can expect this fix in the next patch, probably.

Expected behavior: The new magical clubs clubs have the magical flag so they can damage things like mustard jellies.
Current behavior: They are all non magical for some reason.
Near Infinity tells me useful stuff.

Yeah, this has been discussed several times and is a known issue.
