Keeping Drizzt's stuff when importing to BG2 (Spoilers)

I just murdered Drizzt (Blackguard poison) in my iPad playthrough. Planning to use his equipment for my new Kensai. Was just wondering, if I import that Kensai using Drizzt's scimitars to Baldur's Gate 2 (when it comes out for the iPad), will Drizzt's annoying wizard friend get them from me too?

Used to be there were mods to fix this but since its harder to mod the iPad version, this is more of a problem now. Thanks.

    Without mods, I seem to recall the only item that you get to keep are those nifty Golden Pantaloons.

    The only consequenses are in the form of a dialog with Drizzt when you meet him in BG2 (and his death in BG1 matters, not your staff). "Drizzt's annoying wizard friend" comes after you take Drizzt's equipment in BG2. I think it's because the import itself is not regulated by BG - it's your exploit:)

    Alright thanks! Looks like I'm continuing with my scimitar Kensai then. Collecting for the Big Metal Unit in TOB too :)
