how do I start a BG2 game?

The only game option offered in my PC version is the BG1 game. Also, is there no way to create a new character for BG2? The character I had for BG1 really isn't the one I want to carry into BG2.

    BG:EE only contains BG1 and the ToSC expansion.

    There is a door that leads to BG2 in the upper left in the ruins of the end level of BG1 (where you fight Sarevok). So you first have to finish BG1.

    1 tbh create new char complete game, export to -bg2 problem solved

    Come on, you're telling me that BG:EE has BG2 in it?

    Erm, I did? There is no way the download file was large enough to encompass BG2 as well. And I can't believe they'd release BG2 without enhancing it first either, suspect that would break a number of licensing issues anyway?

    They're using way better compression system, dude. That's why it's so small
    And no issues with licensing - they're just enhancing one step at a time like MMORPG devs do

    And for clarity's sake BG2 is not included. There are many BG2 resources that aren't even included. Just read the mods forum and you'll see how often modders have to copy resources from BG2 and TOB to make mods work.

    LOL Will close this thread before someone believes some of you:) There is no BG2 in BG:EE... yet.
