    Lilarcor talked in everyones hands. Minsc loved his new sword from sewers. He finally had someone equal in intelligence to talk to. :p

    It would be interesting if we discovered how Lilarcor was banished to the sewers in BG1 :)

    I'm assuming it was in fact a mage that went insane listening to his prattling. It was sealed with magic and the text constantly commented on how it sounded like a mad person made it.
