Party has damage resistance. Wut?

I just noticed while playing with my kensai's kai that my party has damage resistance for some reason. When attacking anyone in my party my kensai does a whole 5 less points of damage (out of 24) than he does to an average monster (I tested on an ogre). What is going on here? Why are there no resistances listed on the party's character sheets?

    What difficulty are you playing on?

    Are you playing on normal? Party members only take 75% damage.

    ... *facepalm* I change the setting to normal for leveling and spell learning. I always forget to turn it back up to core. Ok, problem solved.
