Holy shit, ok waiting for "Baldur's Gate Lego Adventures." Never bought starwars or any other Legos, but I'll cave in here.
If it's anything like Lego LOTR... avoid it like the plague. Just, don't... I played the demo of Loego LOTR being a big fan of LOTR... I'm still wanting that 20 minutes of my life back, one of the worst games ever played and i think the single worst console conversion I've ever seen.

Really? That's a shame. I have enjoyed all of the Lego video games I have played (Star Wars New and Original trilogies, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Batman, Harry Potter), and LotR is my favorite so far.
This looks awesome! When I was 7 playing with toys and Baldur's Gate, I would have loved these!!
@toanwrath when you have a character with an aimable ability and you can't use the mouse to aim said ability that is the sign of a terrible, TERRIBLE and utterly lazy conversion.
@toanwrath the other problem I had was they had a lot of the lines straight from the movie that was cool, a lot of lines that where tongue in cheek humor that was well placed.... but also a lot of lines, even just in helm's deep, that weren't trying to be funny, it was just the lines were wrong.
@ScytheKnight Haven't gotten that far, I believe I finished Moria last time I played. I'm alternating between BGEE, Lego LOTR, and LOTr War in the North currently
I really like Lego LOTR, especially playing with my son - it is one of first 'fantasy' experiences. The main problem of this game is rather gameplay issues - bad camera positioning and forcing to constantly swiching between various characters and items in free play mode. It would be much easier if the game would remember last used items and placed them in your empty inwentory slots. Dividing the screen vertical rather than horizontal is also pain. I find that jokes aren't very good. In star wars or indiana jones I laughed at all of them, in LOTR... they are much worse. But despite of humor the story mode is really great and gives so much fun and collecting mithril bricks and building items is so much rewarding (hail to disco phial) And I cant wait to LEGO Avengers videogame :-)
@zwadek I agree with some of your issues. The split screen is sometimes frustrating, the camera angles can be atrocious (the Moria battle for example, I was Pippin and could not manage to get on that friggin Cave Troll for 5 minutes!), and the item system is not the best in free roam. However, I think the jokes can be quite funny (Frodo dropping the ring in coffee to discover the Mordor writing was quite clever). I play with my brother, slowly but surely, and we are enjoying it for the most part.
I agree, the Lego Avengers game is something I am looking forward to (I want Deadpool to break the fourth wall by pulling out some Duplos to climb a building).
@toanwrath naturally I don't find all the jokes bad, but really many of them looks stilted - like death of Boromir, when Lurtz is shooting with broom or banana to Boromir. It's like the developers couldn't agree if it should be humorous or serious scene and instead they gave into the scene Cartoon Network feel. There were really good jokes and amusing interpretations, but nothing as good as first four-five games of the series. I would like to have inventory like in Harry Potte, where left trigger and left shoulder on the pad toggles between items (spells in HP)
I also love Deadpool, and since we bought actual Lego set with Deadpool, Wolverine and Magneto, my son is also looking to play as Merc with the mouth in game

Ah, I use an Xbox controller to play on my PC. Shame about that
I do like that they added the voices in, however.
