lol i'm about to cry

excuse my laziness but i typed out this massive report on a bunch of bugs and other stuff i want to bring to everyones attention and i friggin hit that little 'x' in the browser instead of the tab. Ahhhh worst. especially after all the stuff i expereinced going wrong.

I'll just leave it at this, basically post new patch my whole journal is stuffed. Literally it has one entry 'Important Events' for all Chapters (1-5) and under both Quests and Done Quests. And that's the new journal, the same entry, over and over. Everything else is now gone. anyone else get this?

also am i meant to start a new game post patch. I mean, the 'new surprise' is missing so what else is? is this why my whole game is now out of whack?

    There is a drafts section of your profile which updates about once every 30 seconds as you are typing a post, so you probably havent lost it.
    Check the "My drafts" section underneath your profile pic on the left hand side of the page

    Also, regarding the journal issue, I had a similar issue but I couldnt replicate it. Try closing down baldurs gate then reopening it - that made it dissapear for me

    I've noticed it can be kinda spotty at times, especially when the server is under heavy load.

    I've had a couple of mishaps myself. I use a laptop, so as I'm typing my wrist can sometimes brush the trackpad, causing the dialogue box to be un-selected. This is a bit annoying in itself, but sometimes I'll be in the process of going to press backspace, which, if pressed when the dialogue box is not selected, has the same function as the 'back' button for my browser. And if my draft hadn't been saved recently, poof, there goes everything I'd written.

    Can you send your saved game to dpennyway (at) beamdog.com? I'll take a look this evening and see if it's a problem with your saved game or with your installation.

    Also, @ajwz, I just reloaded the game and the entries have re-appeared.. what the?!

    I've reported this as a bug to the developers, but it should only be a one time thing

    Is it too late to take credit for fixing it? ;) I haven't even had a chance to sit down and load up your save. But that's great to hear.

    The bug knew you were coming to squash it @Aosaw and skittered away. You fixed it by your menacing glare.
