Selling wands and buying them back with way more charges....

Everyone always wonders what to do with all their money...but having a bunch of great wands with a solo sorcy running around with wands that can have 35-100 charges each seems to be a hilarious investment.

So it saves me the trouble of learning Fireball.

I never did this myself mainly because I didn't know you could recharge wands this way. Sounds like fun though.

True, one can't have too much of wands...but too much of money.

I always wondered, does this work the same way for charged items, like the Shield amulet?

Apparently it does but many consider this to be too cheesy.

I don't see how it is cheesy with the staff of striking.

I didn't work that hard for a staff I can hit someone with 25 times.

I am currently having a debate with myself as to whether I should forbid re-charging in my no-reloads playthroughs. For instance I would be forced to play very differently if I was limited to 10 charges only of the Greenstone amulet.

Wand of Paralyzation and Wand of Polymorph make later chapters a lot of fun, especially when being pursued.
Wand of Paralyzation also makes some battles super-fun! :D That way, you have a standing target to center all your AoE effects on.
