What the what!?

I finished BGEE twice already and only now I run into Baeloth? Was he always recruitable in EE or did I miss the memo?

Interesting. I'll have to try him out in my next evil game. I only let him in the group to check out his stats and whatnot, but I noticed I lost no reputation when he joined, as with Viconia or Dorn. Unsure whether or not this is intended, but I can live with that. lol

Ok, now I'm confused. I started an evil game and went back to where I first found Baeloth but he doesn't appear. Is there a requirement of some sort in order to trigger his appearance?

Think you need to be level 5, not sure though as I haven't tested it in my game.

Damn, I was hoping to have him right away. Guess I'll keep Xzar until then.

@Bhaaldog: It was more cunning than there original plan, which was simply to stick some underpants on their head, two pencils up their noses and pretend to be mad.

@bhaaldog and @eudaemonium Have they found Baeloth or Blackadder? Or is Baldrick disguised as a turnip?

I love this thread and all its Addery goodness.

@Anduin Baldrick always looks that way.

@Coriander Can you confirm that Jan Jansen and Baldrick are in fact each other in disguise? It would be most cunning...

Or am I being as thick as clotted cream, that's been left out by some clot, and now the clots are so clotted, you couldn't unclot them with an electric de-clotter, a bit like Baldrick?

I take it that Baeloth has a back story or something, right? I didn't play the Black Pits, so I was sort of like 'what the?' when he showed up.

Baeloth is the drow entertainer that runs the Black Pits. He's in the intro you get before the Black Pits menu appears and the main guy in the game itself.

still haven't played with him. I loaded one of my old saves post chapter 5 to try and find him but I guess that doesn't work lol

@EnterHaerDalis There is a bug that prevents parties that have completed the Bandit Camp from finding him.

Maybe you can try @Cerevant patch:

It should work also if you have already completed the Bandit Camp.
