Hi, Ive done her quest before in a previous playthrough it just came up after awhile but this playthrough i dont want her in my party but I would still like to do her quest, so I was wondering if theres any sure fire way to trigger her quest or at least a way to increase the odds? thanks.

Neera will ask you after she's been in your party for at least eight days, and you're at least level 4.

Ok thanks a bunch I'll try that out, already level 5 so that shoudlnt be a problem. Wasnt sure if there was a set amount of time or if it was just a random thing, by the way does she have to be level 4 as well? because shes only at level 2 my charector however is level 5.

No, only the main character's level matters.

Did you skip her High Forest story?

One day after you recruit her, she initiates her first banter (the one about her past in High Forest). Seven days after you learn her story, she'll offer you the quest if you meet the level requirement. If you told her you don't have time to talk, she'll wait another four days and try the first conversation again.

I picked her up and then almost immediately released her then I would go to FAI occasionally and pick her up to ID our swag then drop her again - her dialoges kicked in both times we used her to ID which left me with her quest open now (shows up on map) but she's level 1 (36 exp) so I decided to leave it for another playthrough as I have not done it yet (and this playthrough is a no reload).

unless the rest of your party is around that level theres no need to save it for another, her quest is pretty easy and not very long either.

Just tell her to stand at the back and try not to summon any more Pit Fiends.

Well even so I would rather do her quest the first time in a run through where I am actually using her as a companion and not just an early game ID bot - now that I have Mr Mystery in that group I probably won't use her at all going forward unless he gets chunked.

Of course the trouble with using her as a companion is I have been doing nothing but no reload runs since getting BGEE and her wild surges make her pretty dangerous for that but perhaps I'll start a new side campaign to run simultaneos to my current no reload that will be a minimal reload run of some sort.

Wild surges backfiring in a no reload didnt even cross my mind good call though, Her quest doesnt provide any really notable loot anyway short of a belt thats only semi usefull in a small number of situations anyway.
