Black pits wont end...

Anybody else have this issue?? did some research nd came up with nothing.. the two times that I did the black pits, I manage to beat Bealoth , he goes down, becomes non-hostile, I then click on him, he says "blah blah blah I'm defeeated, this is cliché.. etc" but then NOTHING... he cast casting his scripted defensive spells and just stands there, I can do his dialog endlessly

as a footnote, I clicked him before defeatng the rackshaza.. might be the issue

    Did you kill all of his goons too?

    nope, like I said maybe that was my mistake, but who doesnt kill the mage first !? I shall try and get rid of the Djin and the Duregar first..

    still pretty poorly programmed imo :/

    After you defeat everyone with a red circle, force-attack Baeloth and cut him into bloody chunks.

    Once he dies, his death triggers the Djinn appearing, and the epilogue speeches & stuff.

    I'm having a bit of a problem with a Black Pits battle being unable to end. The difference is I know why - it is my Stalker with 2 hit points remaining against Carlos Nuez, who is badly injured. The other five members of his party are out of the battle. My five comrades are also out of the battle. It's one on one and somebody has to fall. I have no potions. Carlos has no potions. Neither of us has a ranged weapon.

    I have tried out-maneuvering him around the three central pillars to attempt stealth. But even when I break his line of sight, and stand in a shadow of one of the pillars, it is incredibly difficult to successfully enter the shadows and stealth for a backstab.

    I cannot see my coming out the victor in a straight up fight. He only has to hit me once. I likely have to hit him twice. He is sporting heavy armor... *sigh* ... and he clocked me good on his second attack! No!
