Will this work on 10.5?

I know the min requiredments want the later version of OS, but IME lots of stated requirments end up working just fine on slightly older versions.

Although it would be nice to know if someone has tried it before commiting.

Its kind of a pain, for some reason there is not an easy upgrade from 10.5 to the newer versions. I got to save everything and wipe the whole computer to do it.

    That's just not true. I updated my old MacBook from 10.5 to 10.6 with no problems.

    Also Migration Assistant can move whole system even from ppc mac to intel.
