Noober broken in 2014

The Nashkel's village idiot, Noober, seems to be broken in last patch.

Observed: You need to initiate the conversations with him.
Expected: Noober will nag you by himself.

    But in all seriousness, Noober starts nagging me just fine. I'm on Windows.

    Sometimes he takes a while to notice you. Also if you initiate conversation with someone it will "stun" them for about 7-10 seconds.

    My PC drinks way too much coffee and generally starts the conversation with noober and chats him up relentlessly until he walks off muttering to himself about barely being able to get a word in edgewise...

    what about now? the PC calls cheerfully...

    Worked for me. Noober walked up & started the conversation, but my party walked off and that was that. I seem to recall in the original game he followed the party & kept interrupting. No outrunning Noober then.

    I'm fine with it this way!

I HATE THAT ANNOYING BASTARD I RELOADED MY GAME COUNTLESS TIMES JUST TO HEAR HIM SCREAM LIKE A BITCH!!!! sorry had to let that burst out, if any of you were insulted let me say it's the turth the design team that made noober must have a sick sense of humor

    @drakescar9 Careful with the language.

    Am I the only one here who enjoys Noober and friends? Every time I come across him in the game I can't help but smile.

    He was created as a running gag hinting at n00bish behaviour in mmo's, at a time when the begz0rs were still an unknown quantity. I think Noober is one of the numerous easter eggs in the BG franchise.

    Noober should be given the HP of DRAGBLAC (Black Dragon), so that your entire party can beat the crap out of him. 1 hit kills are so unsatisfying with one as annoying as Noober.

    IMHO Noober has nothing on Anomen in terms of being annoying.
