Mysterious lag in Durlag's tower

Expected behavior: The game does not lag.

Current behavior: The game slightly lags when scrolling across the bottom right (SE) corner of the second floor down in Durlag's tower. The lag causes the screen to freeze briefly before resuming the pan across the floor. It happens in the general vicinity of the room on the attached screenshot.

Nothing serious has happened as a result of this. Just some minor lag. It is still highly annoying though.

I have the PC version of this game. Let me know if further computer specs are needed.
