Useful Cursed/flawed Items

The Hand of kahzgaroth is a useful item in some situations, even though it is cursed. I would request more of these items. Indeed they don't even have to be cursed. For example the ring of evermemory that you find in the wilderness, could be a "flawed ring of evermemory" that has the added penalty of lowering your magic resistance and saves? perhaps that was the reason it was idly thrown away?

You will find a few more have been added in enhanced edition anyway
One that springs to mind is:
As part of rasaads quest you get a belt which sets you strength to 19 but your intelligence to 5.

Lucky Aleppo's discount store has a magical blade which drains some of your gold every time you hit an enemy.

I agree, these are my favourite type of cursed items.

There's also the cursed 2H sword and flail of berserking. The 'useful' part of them is that they're +3 items, of which there are few in the game. I've never used them though, as I've always thought the cons significantly outweighed the benefits.

There was an awesome item in PS:T which was the cursed ring of biting. It was a +2 ring of protection. It's only drawback is that is is cursed (so is difficult to remove once you have equipped it)
I thought that it was prettty cool.

@TJ_Hooker I use that mourning star on my kensai sometimes. I just send him in alone and watch the meat chunks fly! (also the berserk effect seems to give these weapons bonus damage(+2 I think))

I think the Belt of Antipode fits the "flawed item" catagory.
IWD has a similar belt but with slashing/bludgeoning instead.

I've always thought that it might be cool to get the Hand of Vecna in BG2.

Well, Xzar ought to aim for the eye. Surely it gives infravision?
