Just noticed new feature - "copy note"

Wow, I continue to be amazed and impressed at how well Overhaul is supporting our game. I just started a new run with the latest patch, and, as soon as I collected Gorion's correspondence with Elminster off his body, I noticed a new button that said "copy note."

So, I clicked it, and lo and behold, the text of the note appeared in my custom journal notes screen!

I think that that is so awesome! I've always carried around notes and books through the whole game, taking up precious inventory slots, because I wanted to be able to read through them later, and not risk accidentally throwing away a quest letter. Now, that is no longer a worry! Thanks, Overhaul, you guys are the best!

I can't remember the last time I even picked one of those off the ground, let alone read it.... Probably not since my first or second playthrough.

I noticed that, too, when the patch came out. Interesting! ...also a sort of "haha" when you copy down bounty notices. >:3 "Yeah, I'm worth more than that by now! Just ask all those wyverns!".
But I keep Gorion's Scroll with me at all times. And the autograph. And the riddle. They're like that Spellstone my Warlock in World of WarCraft had before the patch that made them go inert -- occupies inventory space, but it's priceless in its own special little way.

I was impressed too. Works with lots of things in game.

That's awesome. I always carry around those note far beyond their usefulness. They just hog up much needed space in my inventory. I tend to be a bit of a pack-rat when it comes to loot in these games. Wonder where I get that from?

When you get to the end of Chapter 3, you still need to keep the second letter from the chest in your inventory for a few seconds to move on to Chapter 4.

Frankly, I think the best tiny addition to the game is the new, pyramid-shaped party formation.

It's replaced the ol' 3x2 rectangle as the formation of choice.

    I don't think that's new.

There's always been a pyramid formation.

You're right. I guess I should have posted that in the "New things you've learned about BG" thread!
