Will I run into trouble?

So I decided to create a new character actually using npc instead of creating my whole party

Protaganist
Human
Wizard Slayer
Lawful Good
Strength 18.65
Dexterty 18
Constitution 18
Intelligence 13
Wisdom 10
Charisma 18
(Got that on my third roll probably the best roll ever)

Hopefully I want gm in crossbow, long swords and single weapon style

Kahlid and Minsc will be my front line fighters while I'm picking people off with my crossbow from behind.
My main mage will be the lovely Neera and wild crazyness.
Jaheria will be my healer.
Imoen will be my thief and I plan to duel class her to mage when her lock pick, find traps reach 80. I don't really care for pick pocketing.
I know there will be a problem with Minsc and his witch, but I plan to kick Neera out briefly bring the witch in and have Minsc kill her. Than kick her dead body out and bring Neera back in. :)

So do you guys foresee a problem?

Everyone has their own way of playing. It sounds like you have a reasonable plan and I think it will work out well enough.

I'm pretty sure that the wizard slayer's cumulative spell casting failure ability does not work on ranged attacks. It is melee only. You can play as you wish, but having Minsc kill Dynaheir is pretty cruel RP-wise :). Otherwise, composition-wise, it should work fine. Really, as long as you have traps taken care of you can win with anything (mages are nice to have though).

Thats why there's a gm in long swords, when a mage comes switch to melee!

With my pc, charisma as high it is and Minsc intelligent as it is. I'm sure he could totally convince that Minsc should kill his witch, because he has a new witch name Neera, but than again thats really not a lawful good behavior but I'm sure my wizard could find same rule that shes breaking..

Just a heads up, in BG:EE you will not be able to get GM in even 1 weapon, let alone 2. Not unless you take advantage of some dual class shenanigans or remove the xp cap, in which case you will be able to get GM, but probably only in 1 weapon.

I just realize the only problem I would run into is that until Imoen mage level is beyond her thief level I will have no thief...Unless I temporary kick out Minsc for someone else.

RP-wise, I think you should put Minsc in a berserker rage then have him kill Dynaheir. Once he calms down from his rage, your PC would be like: "Minsc, what have you done?!?!"

Then Minsc will be like: "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" and he will have to live with what he did for the rest of your adventure. He would probably sink into a deep depression and hole himself up in a tavern every time your party visits a town. Muhuhahaha...
