More kits please!

I love the new kits that came in the last patch...I was hoping for another patch very soon that has many more kits in it. Since Baldur's Gate 2 EE will be more months until release, I need something more to occupy me. I'm hoping for some new kits and replaying BG1EE a couple times. I want a new Ranger kit. That would be nice, and perhaps another Druid kit. But multiple kits would be ideal.

How can someone say there's nothing more to occupy him in terms of BGEE than even more kits?

There're at least several no-reload threads on this forum and if you accept the challenge and its terms you can really test yourself. There're 1000+1 techniques to kill Drizzt, Caroug, Sarevok etc etc you can try for you fun or you can find a new one and savor it. This game is just never-ending in terms of experience and knowledge about its mechanics and expedients.

I doubt we'll see new kits in the patch. In BG2:EE maybe, though)))

But - who won't like it if there are even more new kits in the game?

Personally I'd like the Wild Jester - a Bard kit which uses Wild Magic and has some specific songs. So tempting.

some inspiration from 3th and 4th edition might be interesting (Like the shield dwarf&blackguard we already have. I believe they are prestige classes)
I'd love to play an evil Ranger (like we discussed in another thread), Warlock or ... god forbid ... an ACTUALLY USEFUL DRUID !

But all apart from that, the real prestige class kit we should get is the Origami Master. (A cleric kit without priest spells, who can fold paper 1 times a day/level. Which has no practical use, but in case he creates a paper hat, Imoen can wear it)

An evil ranger kit would indeed be great. I'm also quite fond of Pale Master as a necromancer prestige class, but I doubt it would work well as a mage kit - if only because it would make all other mage "kits" look weak and boring because it's more than "get bonus spell, 1 forbidden school".

Some of the Song and Silence bard kits would be great, especially Diresinger. I love the jester kit due to it's different song effect, and this would mostly be a different roleplay angle.

    Subraces > Kits

Maybe, but only if the subraces in question were different enough to change one's play style, or had significant cosmetic differences, etc. It wouldn't be particularly satisfying to me if new content just amounted to "like regular dwarves, but different!"

Kits just seem like more of a guaranteed way to spice up a new play through, IMO.

Some good Ranger kits would be nice. To make up for the beastmaster.
