Question on using 2 swords at the same time

I have increased my Paladins ability to use two weapons at once. However when I put two swords in the weapons slot, his portrait only shows him holding 1 weapon. Is there something special I need to do to get him to use two swords at once?

if i understand your question correctly, i think you need to put the off-hand sword in the off-hand or shield slot instead.

@Irish437 Basically what @Qbert said is correct. The multple weapon slots in the main hand are just for quickly switching the main weapon. The second weapon takes the place of the shield.

Remember that using two weapons in this manner will require you to enter your inventory screen and unequip the secondary weapon in order to use any ranged attacks.

Also, you only ever get one attack a round with your off-hand weapon, regardless of how many profeciency pips you have. Even if the weapon says "+1 attack/round", if it is equiped in your off-hand slot, the bonus will apply to the weapon in your main hand.

Now, go kick them in the head until they're dead! Hahahaha!
