I'm curently soloing with a F/M/T he is currently lvl 5/4/5 I want to add a kit so he can become more powerfull, but i don't know wich kit I should give him, kensai might be great, but I would also like to kit him into a Wizard slayer at higher levels to have free magic resistence. Which one is the best or do you have other ideas on what kit I should give him? Also, do I have to make him lvl 0 then add some xp to make him get his skills, or can I just wait till he levels up again?
You do realize that minimal requirements for kits like that are actually an advantage as they force game to roll atleast that much, with required 18 at +2 dex, it'll always roll a 16 at least on dex...
it would be much easier if someone would pack all kits in 1 mod and 1 mod for all new spells like iwd1 iwd2 spells pnp spells etc.
@joshuar9476 what is this amazon kit? "AMAZON: amazons are female warriors that decide to train themselves exclusively in the use of ranged weapons and lances. With these two types of weapons, they are without doubt the best warriors in Amn! They love to live in contact with nature and often work with druids to protect forests and animals. ADVANTAGES: - +2 dexterity - +1 charisma - +1 thac0 to all the weapons they can use at levels 1-6-11-21 - Cast "Animal Charm" at level 1-6-11-21 - Cast Valkiria's Lance at level 1-6-11-21 - +1 attach for round DISADVANTAGES: - Only human or half elf - Only female - They can use only ranged weapons and lances - They can specialize only with two handed weapons and with single weapon - Need 18 dexterity - Need 14 charisma - -1 constitution - Only not-evil characters"
Another interesting thing to do in bg2 is to change imoen from a dual class thief>mage to a multiclass thief/mage so she levels in both classes throughout bg2 and tob (gaining thief and mage hlas which can open interesting opportunities).
I try to do that in SK, but I cant get it to work. For some reason, I can only transform Imoen into multiclass in any possible combinations except M/T. I think it has to do with the fact that she is already dualclass in M/T.
@Nic_Mercy: How did you get SK to change Imoen from dualclass to multiclass M/T?
I think I had to actually use Near Infinity instead of SK to do it... I havent done it in years and I believe I changed every instance of her in the game files so that no matter what level I got her at she was was a 1/1 multiclass t/m with the appropriate xp for that instance of her, which let me level her from 1 and set her up to my desires. The reason for changing every instance of her is that npc levels at the beginning of bg2 were determined somewhat by the xp you started the game with (since they raised the xp cap with tosc). Imoen also has new instances based on your xp level when you get her back after spellhold.
I never saved those old change files from back then but it shouldnt be hard to do with Near Infinity... just tedious. There may even be a way to do so with SK but I am not entirely sure how.
