Right, that's enough messing around for now. I think I've done enough to have gotten the hang of things now, so time to begin my new big Poser project. This thread is for re-imaginings of actual scenes from the BG Saga. Other random stuff I'll put in my other threads.
This is hopefully going to be a sort of picture diary showing important scenes, battles, companions etcetera from the games. if there's any particular scene you'd like me to try, do let me know and maybe I'll stick it on the list. To save me the bother of trying to decide on what bhaalspawn to use, I'm going to try and make it as if all the pictures are taken from the protagonists point of view.
Imoen: Oh... heya! It's you... I mean me!
Aerie: I can see that.
Imoen: No... it's another me. From when I was younger... 'fore I even met you. Charname must have done this... they used to carry this little imp round with 'em to quickly paint pictures wherever they went.
Aerie: I-is that Candlekeep? And Gorion...
Imoen: Yup! That was... that was the day our adventure began... the day I left home...
Aerie: I'm sorry... do you want me to put it away?
Imoen: Nah... it's fine. Heh... I remember Hull had been drinking all the night before. Fer some reason he kept telling everyone they shouldn't feed porcupine meat to a baby... don't know how that came up. Then one of the monks kept murmuring that the cows were looking fer revenge and something had to be done to stop them, 'til ol'Puffguts said he was scaring the guests and had to leave. Those were good days.
Aerie: You must miss them.
Imoen: Yeah, but I wanted to see more of the world. And hey, now I know all you guys, so it's not all been bad.
---
Also, if anyone happens to know where there's a good set of spiky armor and big skull helmet for Poser figures, please let me know that. I suppose I could take the jaw and skull from one of my skeleton figures and morph it… oh, and stop trying to look down her top. She's your sister.

And interesting project we have here! Good luck with it!
Are you going to show also scenes or characters from the Enhanced Edition?
If you can't get anything to work for Sarevok, you could always do like...some sort of weird perspective where CHARNAME can only see Gorion and Sarevok from over their shoulder, far away.
Maybe the decisive battle between Imoen, CHARNAME, and those two wolves who insist on feasting on ogres, bandits, and sages. Or those bears by Chase that I keep bothering for experience points.
You're one of the people I watch who says they're going to do something like this, and totally carries it out, all the way.
But in any case, I have made a basic helm for Sarevok already, which is basically just a wide open skull with some horns and sharp teeth stuck on it. I'm not sure how good it would look up close, but he will be somewhat in the distance in the first shot so hopefully it'll be okay.
Not much to say here, really; Charname’s foster father Gorion makes a stand against a mysterious armored figure and his henchmen (and henchwoman) so that the child can escape. This scene of course marks the end of Charname’s childhood, as the doors of Candlekeep are now sealed and they’re thrust out into the world by themselves (at least, it’s the end of the game’s prologue, anyway).
I like the swirl of his robe as he turns to face the enemies.
Imoen: Ohbeeswax... I'M HUGE!
Aerie: It's just perspective...
Imoen: Oh... oh I thought I was having that nightmare where I was giant again. But, I-I'm not a giant, am I Aerie?
Aerie: N-no... y-you're normal sized...
Imoen: Oh good... phew! Oh, yeah... I remember this now. This was when I found Charname by the side of the road, all sweating and shivering after... well, after Gorion... can you believe they tried telling me to go back to Candlekeep! Ha! Like they'd have lasted five minutes without me, state they were in. And they said I was nosey, just 'cos I happened to have accidentally peeked at a few letters. There I am, just looking out for 'em, and they go and call me nosey... some people, huh?
Aerie: Y-yes... some people and their respect for privacy. I-it's really quite shocking that anyone can think like that...
Imoen: Isn't it, though?

So, yes; nice simple image of Imoen 'stumbling' across Charname the morning after the battle between Gorion and Sarevok.
It's simple, but really lovely I love Imoen's sweet expression and the perspective of the picture!
Seriously, who.
Speaking of pups though:
Imoen: Oh no, not her! She’s the best character in the whole thing!
Aerie: Imoen… you’re still here…
Imoen: Heh… yeah. Still not sure if that thing was trying to kill me or kiss me. Either way, I weren’t having it. Funny thing is, Charname and I used to tell stories about a huge wolf that lived out in the woods by itself… never knew he was real though.

After joining with Imoen, Charname returns to the woods to search for Gorion’s body. Of course, if you’re not experienced, it can be easy to become lost in such places, and there are many dangers. Such as Jacob from Twilight here, who won’t be missed at all (Still, not a high enough level yet to take on even one of the lesser Cullens, but all in good time…)
But like I said I want to show every official (Bioware and Beamdog) companion at least once, and if they have a quest associated with them they'll obviously be around for all of that. Neera, for example... but then she might reappear again if I think she's suitable for any particular other scene. So it's a little loose... maybe just a huge party with everyone hanging around waiting to be recruited as the mission warrants... although some things of course develop on their own (Xzar/Montaron and Jaheira/Khalid will likely come into conflict at some point).
Thank you for the explanations
Take your time, you have to do this because you enjoy it, not to please us!
Aerie: I think I recognise those two... they were a little creepy.
Imoen: Pfff... yeah. Don't know what Charname was thinking letting those two join up with us. Guess we were both hurting a little, and tired, and it seemed better to be with a bigger group. Still... I was always taught never to take sweets from strangers. And Xzar's just exactly the type of stranger I imagined they meant...

Returning to my visual chronicle of the Baldur's Gate saga...
Having buried Gorion, the Bhaalspawn and Imoen finally find the road again and start to follow it east toward to The Friendly Arm Inn, as Gorion had instructed. Along the way, they come across two very friendly seeming strangers offering healing potions and aid.
