Installing BGII/ToB on Intel Macs

I have tried to load my Baldur's Gate II/Throne of Bhaal on my mac (OSX 10.8.4) using my CDs. However, it appears the games and installing software (or whatever) were made for the old PowerPC macs (based on the little install window that keeps popping up); my current mac uses Intel.

So, how do I go about installing BG II/ToB?

I checked online and didn't come across any patches. Maybe I'm blind. Help!

    @CorpusDelicti Apple dropped all emulation support for old PowerPC software in the current OSX releases. Your best bet would be to install the Windows version under Wine or hope that the legal problems preventing the release of BG2EE are solved soon.

    I remember trying to install Diablo 1 on my iMac a few years ago, and being frustrated because the computer didn't recognize it. That's certainly one area where Windows excels--they're *all* about backward compatibility.
