Can I get it back by pick pocketing her ?
I would like to keep it for Jaheria. ( I know there is another one later on...but that's way later ! ) But I don't want to die either. ( Geas quest )
Can I kill her after I find the boys body and get it back then ?
She makes my skin crawl...therefore she deserves a mace upside the head.

    If I recall, you can show her the book, get her to give you the geas removal scroll, then refuse to uphold your end of the deal and just fight her and everyone else in the temple that helps her out.

    I'm pretty sure you can give her the book and then pick pocket her to get it back. It's been a while since I tried it but I seem to remember that when I did I was using Alora as my thief: I sent her in on her own to get the book but once she had she was so encumbered that she couldn't move. A good motto for a thief is 'Never steal more than you can carry'.

    You can also pickpocket the geas, thus never having to give her the tome in the first place.

    or you can just kill her and not go through all the hassle and just get the scroll and give it to lothander

    If you have good charisma you can trick her into giving you the scroll first, and then refusing to give the tome. She will attack you then, though you can dart out and escape the incoming Clerical onslaught, ie:Flame strikes/Hold persons

    If you kill her and complete the quest before you get the tome of wisdom from Tymora's temple, will the banters for request the tome still be open?

    I've never had the other clerics do any real spell casting after you kill her.

    She's the only one who can cast spells. Other clerics will only attack you with their weapons.

    Why would I flee when obviously I only need to defeat ASAP the only dangerous enemy ?
