New portraits for new NPCs in BG2EE

It seems like all the original NPCs from BG1 got new portraits in BG2, so can we expect the same with the EE?
I don't have a problem with the current ones, but I think it might be cool to see some new ones too.

    No, they'll keep their existing portraits.

    No, they'll keep their existing portraits.
    Does that mean there's no plans to bring back any other NPCs from BG1 (i.e: Shar-Teel, Kiven, etc.)?

    That's not what that answer specifically is referring to, but you are correct that we have no current plans to bring back any new NPCs from BG1 beyond Dorn, Neera, and Rasaad.

    But if you change those plans it will be Alora you bring back, right?

    Haha, No, Yeslick is definitely the one they should bring back.

    Surely Tiax should survive Spellhold and you should join him.

    Safana or even Skie would be a nice option for a couple of extra thieves to choose from.Yoshima is a great thief..........................i just don't trust him for some reason :)

    Figure I better throw up spoiler brackets on this one, just in case...


    I still have yet to keep yoshimo long enough to "Learn" he can't be trusted, usually I use Nalia until I get to spellhold, and then I switch her out for Imoen, although I guess Yoshimo would make the switch in spellhold all the easier, haha.

    Only played once and didn't know what was going to happen. Yoshimo was with us the whole time.

    Until he wasn't, of course. I was upset at the betrayal (CHARNAME was LAWFUL), so he was not spared...

    Import and use the Geas removal scroll from bg1 on Yoshimo

    @Permidion_Stark You are indeed correct... this leads to a completely different ending where in the end TIAX steals Bhaal's essence and becomes a god, as was always destined.

    I'm going to use this thread to ask if anybody has any solid male portraits in the proper dimensions for BG:EE? I have alot of Kurimi's ones but they are all female.

    Substitute Safana's name with Alora and I would agree (only because Safana already has a cameo as a non-playable character).

    One of BG2's most frustrating aspects is its lack of quality thieves.

    -Imoen and Nalia both have their (inadequate) thieving skills capped.

    -Jan is a multiclass (and a somewhat annoying character IMO).

    -Yoshimo... well, you know. ;-)

    Adding Alora, Skie, and/or Safana (if she didn't already have a cameo) as NPCs would have been very helpful, especially if their stats were also boosted like the other returning NPCs.
