My party is ( Have TOB and TDD installed also )
Characters are from lvl 13 to 15
Me - Bounty Hunter with +2 and +3 daggers
Korgan - berserker dwarf with Dwarven Malice ( + 4 one handed axe )
Avaunis Adelez - Cerebral Knight with Exus Mitalbre 2handsword ( + 5 )
Rivan - Ranger with Strong Arm +2 bow ( +3 thaco , +3 dmg )
Edwin - Conjurer with up to level 6 spells like haste, breach, pierce magic , remove magic , lower resistances , magic missiel ,fireball etc
Robillard - Invoker with up to level 6 spells like fireball, true sight, dispel, otiluke's freezing sphere etc
Im basicly getting my ass HANDED to me when fighting the guardian.
She normally dispells everything when i enter the room , i move my 4 first chars up to the left side while the wizards cast remove magic and lower resistance on her ( lower 22% pr time , have 6 stacked so total -132% MR lowered available )
Problem is her speed, poison and that she regenerates faster than f...
If i juggle my characters between her while lowering her resistances, im able to hurt her with magic missiles , melf's acid arrow or otilukes freezing sphere.
Problem is she's regenerating faster than my wizards can hurt her, and she kills Korgan / Avaunis and my main character faster than they can kill her combined with the wizard attacks
I assume she is a +5 to hit , i only have +2 arrows on my archer, so basicly only Avaunis can hit her with his sword
I also have no save available before going to the island, so that means a complete restart and 40 hours of playtime out the window
Tips anyone ? I think of myself as an above average rpg'er, but I think i have to eat those words now

If you need +5 to hit, it would seem reasonable not to attempt it before you have sufficient weapons available that can damage her. Usually weapon damage is superior in single-target output to spells, so that might help with your regeneration issues.
In general, to beat an encounter you divide it into logical segments and problems to be solved. What are the defenses? What are the offenses? How do you counter them, respectively? What buffs do you have available? If poison is a problem, consider using something that makes you immune to poison (necklace/scroll); if attacks are a problem, consider tanking with defensive buffs (PfMW, Stoneskin). If defenses are a problem, make sure you have the appropriate dispels available.
Can't really help much more without knowing the details of the encounter I'm afraid. I might give TDD a try after my current SCS/A playthrough...
