Just now finished my first BGEE playthrough (Cavalier). Haven't decided if I want to import to BG2 right now or wait until BG2EE is released. I know it'll be at least 2 months if I wait for that, but the vanilla BG2 engine feels very clunky after using the EE engine.
I've got a bunch of playthroughs of BG1:EE in various states of completion. One is on iPad 1, which is nigh on unplayable (crashes after a movie plays, every time. It's to be expected, iPad1 is ancient in terms of hardware specs these days and I'm surprised BG1:EE runs on it at all due to the pitiful memory available to apps).
The others are me trying out a bunch of different stuff. I have my "canon" party playthrough, with a male sorcerer charname to pursue a romance in BG2:EE etc. I have 3 solo playthroughs (sorcerer, fighter/mage/cleric and mage/cleric) going, because I'm not sure which one I like playing the most yet.
Then I have a couple of other parties going, ranging in size from 2 - 6 and various class makeups.
Eventually, they'll all end up finishing the game.. but I'm in no hurry. Yet.
I just finished my fifth play early today. The first four could probably have been wrapped up as 3, but then I would have just found others reasons to make new games. I have had one play through each catered to the inclusion of one of the custom NPCs. Baeloth wound up in my Dorn game anyway. Then I played through with my "classic" character so that he will be ready to go when BGII:EE is available. Since I have time before November 15th though, I have a feeling I will be playing through one or two more times.
