I agree, they should allow for BG2 replay Item import.
Also i think that many people here talking against that Item import have never actually finished or played BG2 more than once. Your reactions simply lack the passion and understanding of someone who did. That "bug" was an optional way for people to enjoy the game. By "fixing" it they have taken possible enjoyment away from people not added to it. Which is very stupid of them. But I guess somebody just wanted to get paid for doing something unnecessary.
